This weekend, Azimut in Šibenik once again becomes a gathering place for music collectors, concert enthusiasts, photographers, DJs, and everyone for whom music is much more than background noise. The three-day program features an exhibition, a concert, a record fair, and social gatherings, with a special focus on the atmosphere that has, for years, made LP Day much more than an ordinary vinyl fair.

The program begins on Thursday, May 28, at 8 PM with the opening of Marina Pešić’s concert photography exhibition, In the Colors of Sound. This is her eleventh solo exhibition of concert photography and her second in Croatia. Through 25 photographs taken since 2014, the exhibition offers a retrospective of years spent alongside stages, spotlights, smoke, and the energy of clubs and festivals. Rock, punk, pop, and those fleeting moments between noise and silence are captured through color, movement, and atmosphere. The evening concludes with an acoustic performance by Miro Odak and his band.

Friday, May 29, is reserved for a concert by the KaliKamo collective, which brings its unique blend of dub culture, analog synthesizers, spoken word, and massive bass grooves to Azimut from 9:30 PM. This distinctive project brings together musicians from the Kudikamo?, BarabaDub Sound System, Je Veux, and Egoless collectives. Their sound freely wanders between dub, electronica, psychedelic textures, trance, and improvisation. Audiences can expect a hypnotic live ritual where live instruments, loopers, and powerful bass lines merge into an intense club experience.

Saturday, May 30, is traditionally dedicated to the central part of the program – the Record Fair / LP Day, running from 10 AM to 3 PM. Throughout the day, Azimut will once again bring together exhibitors, collectors, and vinyl enthusiasts from across Croatia and the wider region. Visitors can look forward to crate digging, record trading, conversations about music, and hours of socializing accompanied by DJ selections and a great atmosphere.

After thirteen years, LP Day has outgrown the framework of a traditional record fair and evolved into a small festival of music culture that reminds us each year why clubs, records, concerts, and independent venues matter—not only because of nostalgia, but because of the communities they create.

LP Day is organized by the Azimut Cultural Center, Kolektiv 4B, and Fotopoetika, with the support of the Šibenik Tourist Board, a longstanding partner of the city’s cultural scene and high-quality public events.
