SUMMARY:Around\, Through and Apropos Crnica (Conversations on Crnica II)
DESCRIPTION:“Around\, Through and Apropos Crnica (Conversations on Crnica II)” is a workshop conceived in a festival format\, taking place from March 6–8 in Šibenik. It is intended for all interested citizens of Šibenik\, as well as anyone intrigued by the area of the former TEF factory and the Crnica neighborhood. The program is divided into three (mutually independent) parts: Around Crnica\, Through Crnica\, and Apropos Crnica. \nThe workshop is part of the ALILAND (Art Living Lab to Repair the Land) project and was developed by young professionals in urbanism\, architecture\, and landscape: Bruna Alfier\, Katarina Nanjara\, and Mate Rupić\, with the support of colleagues and friends. \nAdmission to all events within Around\, Through and Apropos Crnica is free for the general public without prior registration\, except for the Apropos Crnica workshop segment on Saturday afternoon and Sunday\, which requires prior registration via email: udrugaiii@gmail.com\n. \nThe ALILAND project is funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe Programme under grant agreement no. 101173701. Marking International Women’s Day\, the associations Kolektiv 4B\, Fotopoetika\, and Šibenik Youth Association ŠUM\, together with Azimut\, are organizing the program “From Stitch to Attitude”\, which includes the flea market “Textile Terror #3” and the illustration workshop “DRAW life LIKE HER.” Participation is free\, and registrations are open. \n\nTEXTILE TERROR\n10:30 — 13:30 \nIn the morning\, we open our doors to a flea market that doesn’t just sell clothes—it sells attitude. \nTextile Terror is a small attack on a big industry—the one that convinces us we need more\, faster\, cheaper. And the one that often exploits women and children in countries where labor and children’s rights are still treated as disposable. \nHere\, we don’t buy trends.Here\, we exchange\, repair\, reclaim\, free up our closets—and our conscience. \nBring pieces you no longer wear\, and find ones that will get a new life.Slow fashion as resistance. SUMMARY:A creative crochet workshop
DESCRIPTION:A creative crochet workshop will soon take place at Azimut Club\, where participants will have the opportunity to learn how old cotton T-shirts can be given a completely new purpose. Through hands-on work\, attendees will master basic crochet techniques and create their own bag from recycled textiles. \nThe workshop will be led by Ana Korunić and will be held as part of the Sustainability in TCLF (Textiles\, Clothing\, Leather\, Footwear) project\, which promotes sustainable practices and the creative reuse of materials.
